During Yeezy Supply, employee cards were a great option because hard cards happened to do better then most cards for some people. Now different VCC options such as Extend, Slash or Privacy are much more viable options as they are much easier to setup. If you want to stick to using American Express, you can sign up for a card and then link it to Extend to get up to 500 Virtual Cards that you can use.
Upon completely the sign up process and getting approved for your new card, you can create employee cards right after you get approved, or wait until you get the card in the mail and add it to your account to then do the following:
After this step, if you have multiple cards you will be asked to select which card you would like to create employee cards under. If you have the Business Platinum/Gold Card, select Employee Business Green Rewards Card as there will be no additional annual fee for any employee cards you add. If you have the Business Plum Card, you can add additional Plum Cards as your employee cards with no additional annual fee.
For the name on the employee cards, add your name along with your email address. You can add up to five employee cards at a time before having to start from the previous step again. You can have a total of 99 employee cards under one account / card. Meaning if you have 3 different cards (ex. Platinum, Gold and Green) each card can have up to 99 employee cards totaling up to almost 300 employee cards total.
